Jake Evans Trucksport Dominates at Le Mans: Four Wins from Four in Division 2
The Jake Evans Trucksport Team delivered a phenomenal performance at the Le Mans Bugatti Circuit last weekend, securing four victories from four races in Division 2 of the 2026 British Truck Racing Championship. As proud sponsors of the team, we are delighted to celebrate this outstanding achievement on one of Europe’s most iconic circuits.
Friday: Strong Start, Swift Recovery
The weekend opened positively during Friday’s test session, with Jake quickly settling into the rhythm and posting competitive lap times. A gearbox issue in the afternoon threatened to disrupt progress, but the team reacted immediately and completed a full gearbox change, ensuring the truck was ready for Saturday’s sessions.
Saturday: Pole Position and Two Victories
An early free practice allowed Jake to confirm the new gearbox was performing perfectly before heading into qualifying. A late, committed lap secured pole position in class, reflecting both driver confidence and excellent teamwork.
Race One A clean getaway and composed drive saw Jake take the first P1 of the weekend.
Race Two With a reverse grid placing Jake on overall pole, Jake controlled the pace and claimed his second win of the day – another P1 in Division 2.
Sunday: Unusual Format, Same Winning Form
Sunday began with a shortened free practice session, which was red‑flagged after only a few laps. A second qualifying session followed, and once again Jake delivered under pressure, securing pole with another decisive final lap.
Race Three A difficult start dropped Jake several places, but determined driving and close battles throughout the race brought him back to the front, finishing P1 yet again.
Race Four Jake made a strong start, but an incident ahead forced him wide and across the gravel, rejoining fourth in class. What followed was one of the most exciting battles of the weekend. Jake fought through the field, taking the lead on the final lap to complete a perfect four‑win sweep.
