Josh Bland (pictured on the left in the below photograph), recently visited a local transmission specialist to better understand the workings of today’s complex truck gearboxes and after commented: “It’s one thing to look at a parts list on a screen but to see how each component interacts with others really helps me to understand how the units work. I’m lucky that in the office we have a number of people who are real specialists on transmission spares and they are a great help. I’m trying to build my knowledge as much as possible.”
